Bronze Boom Crotch End Fitting Code HM0028
Used to attach an "x" shaped Boom Crotch to the deck. The eyes are fastened to the deck with the opening facing fore and af. The hooks are attached to the forward edge of the boom crotch. By placing the boom crotch in a horizontal position the hook can be slipped through the eye. When rotated to the vertical the hook can no slip out.
