Bronze Rigging Clamp Code BB5697
This unique fitting was used in the 1800s to hand an anchor light from a stay.It is used today to hang swim ladders, cockpit awnings, or anything else that needs to hang temporarily from a stay. May be used on stays or line from 3/16" to 1/2" (the larger the better). The shackle at the left is for a lanyard to tie the clamp to the stay. The object to be hung is attached to the shackle at the right. The heavier the load the better it works.
