This incredibly unique bronze compass housing is in overall great condition for its age. There is some cracking to the housing top but it is still solid and won't come apart. The compass inside is a Ritchie and looks to be in great shape. The housing is 28 1/2" total height (not including the wood). It is 10" diameter at the widest part. The base is 8 1/2" diameter. It is on a mahogany or teak piece of wood/hatch. This measures overall 26" long x 18 1/4" x 16 1/2" width as it tapers. There is another piece of wood underneath that measures 22 1/2" long x 18 1/4" wide and is 1 3/4" total thickness.
